Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) h. and l. The all-bisque figurine depicts classic Kewpie seated upon a toy horse;
Kewpie has sculpted black helmet with gold finial and gold spread eagle insignia,and black
painted belt with sword and scabbard,along with classic features of side-glancing googly
eyes,blue eyes and impish smile. The white horse has dappled grey spots,black mane and tail
tips,and grey legs with painted dots to suggest pin hinges. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
Germany (green stamp) (remnants of original blue "Germany" paper label). Comments:
