12" (30 cm.) An all-bisque figural scene depicts a young boy and girl posed upon a bisque grassy
hillock as though they were playing "giddy-up,pony",she in the front with her hands clasping the
play-reins,and he behind with right arm outstretched as though wielding the pony crop and his
left hand holding the reins. Each has elaborately-sculpted hair in tousled curls,she with
topknot,well-defined sculpted and painted facial features,and very elaborate sculpting and paint
of costume including gilt-accented purple collar,pants and shoes on the boy,and wind-blown
ruffled apron on the girl. Excellent condition. Germany,Gebruder Heubach,circa 1910.
