12" (30 cm.) Solid-domed papier-mache shoulder head with slender face. black painted
pate,small black enamel eyes,painted all-around lashes,feathered brows,closed mouth,pale
blushed cheeks,firmly-stuffed kid poupee body with stitched and separated fingers. Condition:
generally excellent,very sturdy body. Comments: French,circa 1840. Value Points: the
wonderfully-preserved doll with beautiful original facial finish and near mint body,is wearing her
original brown woolen nun's habit of the Carmelites including scapular,traditional white cloak
and rosary.
