7" (18 cm.) Solid domed papier-mache shoulder head with painted black hair and facial
features,blue upper glancing eyes with black eyeliner,closed mouth,firmly-stuffed kid body with
wooden hands and painted papier-mache lower legs with bare feet. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: French,circa 1840. Value Points: rare early model with fine original finish
of the poupee wearing well-detailed traditional-costume of Pas-de Calais region of France
including fishing net and basket.
