21" (53 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head of adult lady with very elongated face and throat,black
sculpted hair drawn away from her face and captured by a sculpted black snood that is decorated
with a ribbon bow at each side of face,painted blue upper glancing eyes,red and black upper
eyeliner,single stroke brows,circle accents at nostrils,closed mouth,muslin stitch-jointed
body,kid arms,porcelain hands and lower legs,painted boots. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: Germany,circa 1870. Value Points: rare coiffure with snood,wonderful antique cotton
two-piece gown,undergarments,and holding an early porcelain trinket box with unusual designs
depicting Red Riding Hood and the wolf as her grandmother.
