15" (38 cm.) Solid domed papier-mache shoulder head of adult lady with oval face and strong
elongated throat,painted facial features,upper-glancing blue eyes,single stroke brows,closed
mouth with blushed cheeks,black painted pate under slit-attached brunette human hair with tiny
coiled braids,all-wooden body with block torso,jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips and
knees,painted flat black shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1850.
Value Points: wonderful detail of original wig,rarer wooden articulated body,and wearing original
muslin print dress with gold silk ribbons to match hair ribbons,undergarments.
