20" (51 cm.) Wax-over-papier-mache shoulder head of adult lady with oval shaped head and
elongated throat,the head turned slightly to the side,sculpted and painted chemise
bodice,painted blue downcast eyes,dark eyeliner,feathered brows,closed mouth with center
accent line,commercial muslin stitch-jointed body with shapely torso,kid arms with gusset-
jointing,stitched and separated fingers,original brunette mohair wig in elaborate coiffure,lovely
silk costume,undergarments,leather boots. Condition: very good,surface dust on face and hair.
Comments: Germany,circa 1875,probably Dressel. Value Points: rare sculpted and painted
bodice.
