17" (43 cm.) The all-bisque figurine depicts a young maiden and an amorous man posed upon a
bisque wooded scene,he with curly hair and long curly moustache,with sculpted grey cap
trimmed with tassels and feathers,with painted rose suit decorated with borders of gilt-accented
painted flowers,and she with pale blonde hair arranged in long braids that extend to her
hips,having sculpted white cap with large yellow bow,painted costume with exquisite detail of
pleats,lace,and ruffles,and having painted bluebells on the apron. She clasps his shoulders,and
he lifts his hand tenderly to her face as he leans forward for "just one kiss". Excellent
condition,one surface paint flake at side of base. Germany,Gebruder Heubach,circa
1900,exceptional quality and variety of painting details and accents on the rare larger size.
