16" (41 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head,painted brown short boyish hair,intaglio blue
down-glancing eyes,white eyedots,single stroke eyeliner,shaded brows,accented nostrils and eye
corners,closed mouth with defined space between the shaded lips,composition and wooden ball-
jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: D.I. 5 (incised)
S&Co Geschutz (green stamp). Comments: Swaine and Co,circa 1915. Value Points: very fine
quality of sculpting especially of intaglio eyes,choice bisque and painting,original body and body
finish.
