19" (48 cm.) Solid domed head with flanged neck and highly-characterized features depicting the
beloved animated film character,large blue "O" shaped eyes,painted three upper lashes,pointy
nose,hinged jaw,muslin body with over-sized composition hands,wearing flannel orange
jacket,"Dopey" cap,purple stitched-on shoes,trousers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
Ideal Doll. Comments: Ideal,the Walt Disney licensed figure was presented at the time of the
1937 animated film,and was designed as a "talking" figure whose mouth opened and closed
when string pulled at the back of his head. Value Points: very rare grand size is wonderfully-
preserved with near-flawless complexion and painting,original costume and colorful original box
(cap not shown in photo).
