18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of adult lady with oval face and elongated throat,blonde
sculpted hair waved away from her face into elaborate curls piled high on crown,decorated with a
band of black beads,and forming into tumbling curls at the back,fully-sculpted pierced
ears,painted blue eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,single stroke brows,accented nostrils and
eye corners,closed mouth,sculpted bodice with ruffled collar and painted black cross necklace
with gilt edging,muslin stitch-jointed body,bisque lower arms. Condition: generally
excellent,bisque arms are not original. Comments: Germany,circa 1870. Value Points: fancy
coiffure,decorated bodice,beautiful antique gown.
