13" (33 cm.) The all-bisque boy,is posed standing against a snow-covered stone wall,a pair of
young pups held snugly in his arms,he with blonde sculpted bangs,wonderfully-modeled face
with intaglio eyes,smiling expression and very deep dimples,wearing a sculpted blue double-
breasted jack and matching cap,brown trousers and white leggings; the pups with shaded
"fur",brown eyes and mournful expressions. The sculpting extends all around,including the back
ends of the pups shown at the back. Excellent condition. Germany,Gebruder Heubach,circa
1910,"Best Friends" was designed as a partner to lot #115 "Keeping Kitty Cozy".
