Description
9 1/2" (24 cm.) The diminutive all-bisque figure depicts a young girl standing against a mossy
stonewall,a winged baby bird tenderly held in her arms,her head tilted down to the bird as
though comforting it. The girl has richly-sculpted brown curls which tumble down her back
nearly to her waist and held by a golden-brown hair bow that matches the trim on her flower-
trimmed smock. Excellent condition. With red sunburst insignia stamp. Germany,Gebruder
Heubach,circa 1900.
