Description
5" (13 cm.) including hat. The yellow-wax head man has painted facial features including
moustache,original body with wooden legs,painted boots,and is mounted on original wooden
stand,wearing original elaborately detailed military costume with medals,ornate buttons,fitted
jacket,and sword. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (two original paper labels under base).
Comments: late 19th century,probably Austrian. Value Points: amazing detail of costuming is
wonderfully preserved; included is an miniature image 5"l. frame) depicting a troop of soldiers on
horseback led by general on white horse.
