22" (56 cm.) Wax-over-papier-mache shoulder head with sculpted blonde hair arranged with
cluster of curls at the forehead and ringlet curls at the back,held by a painted magenta-edged
pink hair band with bow and streamers at the back of her head,blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark
eyeliner,one-stroke brows,closed mouth,sculpted ears,firmly-stuffed muslin body,papier-mache
lower arms and legs with painted stockings and heeled rose ankle boots. Condition: generally
excellent,little rub on chin and small line at left eye rim. Comments: Germany,circa 1870. Value
Points: original finish,original body and wearing store-original pink gown with lace trim,and
undergarments.
