Description
7" (18 cm.) dolls. 10" x 8" box. A wooden shadow box with mirrored back and paper covered
walls and exterior,displays two paper dolls with flat-dimension bodies,and three-dimensional
heads with hand-painted faces and hair,wearing original fine silk and net clothing. The dolls are
attached by wire inside the shadowbox,and when wire is pulled at the sides,the dolls "dance".
Excellent condition. Early 19th century.
