5" (13 cm.) Poured wax shoulder head with painted hair and facial features,tiny bead eyes,firm cloth body,poured wax lower limbs,bare feet,wearing original cotton gown and cap,glazed chintz undergarments,and dainty woven bonnet with silk ribbons. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: English,mid-19th century,the doll was featured in an article "Pleasure in Pairs" by Estelle Johnston,Doll Reader,May 1986. Value Points: perfectly-preserved charming little girl with wonderful bonnet,in her original box.
