Description
12" (30 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, cobalt blue glass eyes, painted lashes, daintily-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid body with shapely torso and hip-jointed legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1870. Value Points: rare petite size with beautiful bisque and very sturdy and fresh original body, wearing original white pique gown with soutache-trimmed overskirt, undergarments, woven bonnet, beautiful leather shoes with rosette trim, and carrying little bone seven-pin game.
