15" (38 cm.) Wax-over-papier-mache shoulder head with sculpted bonnet,cobalt blue glass inset
eyes,fringed brows,eyeliner,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accented lips,ears pierced into
head,brunette mohair curls arranged at sides of bonnet,muslin body with papier-mache lower
limbs,painted stockings and brown and black boots with tassel trim. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1860. Value Points: rare glass-eyed child whose sculpted
white bonnet with blue ribbon edging is posed in a fashionable manner onto the forehead,is also
wearing her original linen print gown and undergarments.
