9" (23 cm.) matador. Each is all-composition,including Matador with jointed
arms,sculpted,sideburns and thick brows,painted "O"-shaped upper glancing eyes,wide beaming
smile with double row of teeth,painted white socks and black shoes,wearing original velvet
costume; and Ferdinand,the black bull with white mask face and underbelly,sculpted mane and
horns,painted heavily-lidded eyes,with daisy in his mouth. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
C. Walt Disney Ideal N&T Co. Comments: depicted are characters from the 1938 Disney animated
short film,Ferdinand the Bull,telling the story of the Bull who preferred to smell the flowers rather
than fight. Value Points: rare dolls in well-preserved condition.
