19" (48 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with ebony black complexion,black painted hair,defined eye sockets with painted brown eyes,sculpted black upper eyeliner,painted black brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth modeled as though open with coral-shaded lips,black composition bent baby body,nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 100 58. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt,circa 1909,the first model of the firm's art character series,the disparity of actual size and incised 58 number is curious as the doll is unquestionably all original. Value Points: an exceptional model with superb quality of sculpting,and flawless complexion of both face and body,rare larger size.
