Description
17" (43 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head,brown painted hair,blue glass sleep eyes,with
heavy eyelids,painted lashes,brush-stroked brows,closed mouth with defined space between the
shaded lips,composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing,antique
costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: D.V. 6 (incised) S&Co Geschutz (green stamp).
Comments: Swaine and Co,circa 1915. Value Points: especially fine sculpting with fine definition
around the eyes,choice bisque and painting,original body and body finish.
