10" (25 cm.) Pale bisque shoulder head with black/brown sculpted hair in ornate coiffure,having two vertical finger curls at center forehead,and side hair waved behind the ears into two very full arranged curls at the back that center a vertical loosely-woven braid,painted blue eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,single stroke brows,closed mouth,muslin stitch-jointed body,flat black shoes. Condition: generally excellent,light cheek rubs. Marks: S H (faint markings). Comments: Simon and Halbig,circa 1875. Value Points: very rare early model with superb rare coiffure,original body,wearing fine antique muslin gown with transfer print design,having extended train,undergarments.
