Description
30" (76 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth with shaded and accented lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117 76. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, their model marketed as "Mein Susser Liebling" (my sweet darling). Value Points: especially fine example of the landmark doll with finest bisque and sculpting, original body and body finish, original wig, and wonderful mariner costume.
