15" (38 cm.) overall. 4" h. head. Porcelain shoulder head of adult lady with oval face and
elongated throat,sculpted black hair with long full looped curls at the sides of face and green cap
fitted to her head with upturned brim at the back and yellow and green sculpted feathers,painted
blue eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,single stroke brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with
hint of smile,old homemade muslin body,antique costume. Condition: old hairline on shoulder
plate,otherwise excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1860. Value Points: rare model with
wonderful expression,rare sculpted feathered bonnet,fine quality of porcelain and painting.
