15" (38 cm.) Untinted bisque shoulder head of lady with perfectly oval face and slightly-
elongated throat,blonde sculpted hair waved into double rows of arranged curls framing her
face,edged with purple bisque ruffle,and centered by a large blue flower at her crown,the back of
hair enclosed in an elaborately-woven "spider-web" snood,painted bright blue eyes,red and
black upper eyeliner,brown single stroke brows,closed mouth,muslin stitch-jointed body,bisque
forearms,nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent albeit,probable restoration to
ribbon and flower,one bow tip missing at back,arms not original. Germany,circa 1875. Value
Points: very rare model with intriguing sculpted and painted snood.
