16" (41 cm.) Each is all-cloth with pressed and oil-painted hair and facial features,one with
brown eyes and painted light brown hair,the other with blue/green eyes and darker brown
hair,each with black and brown upper eyeliner,closed mouth with small pouting lips,blushed
detail of cheeks and ears,stitch-jointed arms,separately-sewn thumbs,disc-jointed hips with
wide legs. Condition: very good/excellent,the brown-eyed model is all original,the other has
old touch-up on hair and some body spotting. Marks: Kathe Kruse 34527 (foot,and with
original back-to-back-K's label,one brown-eyed) 75140 (?) (foot of other). Comments: Kathe
Kruse,first period dolls,circa 1910. Value Points: most endearing early models own an
extensive wardrobe including seven dresses or romper dresses,a large amount of
undergarments,knit caps and sweaters,caps and matching scarves,shoes,and various other
accessories.
