34" (86 cm.) Poured wax shoulder head of elegant lady with slender face turned to the
side,elongated throat,modeled bosom,blue glass inset eyes,inserted delicate lashes and
brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accented lips,pierced ears,brunette human hair
inserted in rows,firm mannequin torso with shapely slender torso and legs,wooden arms with
dowel jointing at elbows,poured wax hands,wearing lingerie in the 1890 style and owning a
splendid silk and velvet gown (some wear at bottom of skirt) in the 1890 style of antique
fabrics. Condition: very good/excellent with some typical minor rubs on wax. Comments: circa
1885,maker unknown,designed with body for use as a fashion mannequin,yet in most unusual
size,probably aimed for display of costumes on counter tops. Value Points: rare mannequin
lady with beautiful face and modeling,luxury quality of production.
