eyes,thick dark eyeliner,painted long lashes,brush-stroked brows,accented nostrils and eye
corners,closed mouth with richly-accented lips,separately-modeled pierced ears,brunette human
hair hand-tied wig over cork pate,French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with plump
limbs and straight wrists,wearing antique costume with decorated military-style jacket,red
woolen skirt,woolen hat,undergarments,leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 16
(head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau,circa 1885. Value Points: rare
large size of the beloved wistful-faced child known as "triste",with lovely bisque,painting and
expression.
