13" (33 cm.) Earthenware shoulder-head turned to the side with sculpted brown hair in chignon
and face-framing curls,blushed tan complexion,enamel eyes,rose blushed eyelids and
nose,painted lashes,closed mouth with painted row of teeth,hemp-wrapped body with
earthenware limbs,painted blue stockings and brown shoes with red bows. Condition: generally
excellent,one finger broken. Comments: Neopolitan village lady,early 19th century. Value Points:
with very expressively-sculpted features,and wearing her original elaborate paper-lined silk
costume with lace and metallic trim.
