9" (23 cm.) dolls. 15" x 13" cabinet. A wooden cabinet with paper and painted decorations on the
exterior,and an interior paper to appear as flowers against a blue sky,displays a pair of seated
wax children with enamel eyes,painted features,blonde mohair arranged curls,wax limbs.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments: early 1800s. Value Points: the sealed cabinet has
preserved the romantic interior,the dolls wearing their superb original silk fashionable costumes
of a young boy and girl,with most expressive features.
