Description
16" (41 cm.) All-carved wood,with socket head,deeply carved hair in short bobbed boyish fashion
with overlapping curls at forehead,intaglio carved upper glancing blue eyes with pronounced
black pupils in well-defined sockets,painted brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with wide
lips,all-wooden spring-jointed body. Condition: structurally good,many rubs and scuffing on
head and body,unrestored. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan.17,'11 USA & Foreign Countries
(impressed). Comments: Schoenhut,model 205,circa 1912. Value Points: very fine detail of
carving on hair and features of the rare model.
