5" (13 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged slender bisque torso,cobalt blue glass enamel inset
eyes,delicately-painted features and brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent
lips,brunette mohair braids,peg-jointed shoulders and hips,bare feet,wooden ball-joints at
elbows. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: BTE. Comments: French,circa 1880,the model is
attributed to Schmitt et Fils. Value Points: very rare jointed elbow model with beautiful face is
wearing her original ivory silk and lace costume and cap.
