painted lashes,fringed brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined
lips,pierced ears,auburn mohair wig over cork pate,French composition and wooden fully-jointed
body. Condition: generally excellent,original body and body finish. Marks: Bru Jne 2. Comments:
Bru,circa 1890,the new style body was introduced by Girard at this time. Value Points: beautiful
wide-eyed bebe with richly painted lips and brows,brilliant eyes,original body,and wearing
original cotton dress,undergarments,socks,straw bonnet with silk band labeled "Le Mutin" in
gilt,black silk parasol,and near-perfect original shoes signed "Bru Jne Paris 2".
