17" (43 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,luxury neck articulation
allowing the head to tilt side-to-side and forward as well as swivel,brilliant cobalt blue glass
enamel inset eyes,thick dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and
eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,ears pierced into head,brunette human hair wig
over cork pate,French kid gusset-jointed body with shapely torso,stitched and separated
fingers. Condition: generally excellent,tiny flake at neck edge of back shoulder plate.
Comments: French,circa 1867,with Dehors deposed neck articulation system. Value Points:
compelling presence of the poupee achieved by brilliant eyes,realistic head posturing and
superb antique silk gown with black Alencon lace,velvet and lace
bonnet,earrings,undergarments,stockings and heeled ankle boots.
