6 1/2" (17 cm.) dolls. The intricately bent and shaped wire furnishings include a serving table with shelves,oval table,six side chairs and a long sofa with arched back. Along with two porcelain dolls with black sculpted hair,depicting a man and woman,each with painted facial features,muslin body,porcelain lower limbs,and each wearing its original costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: the furniture is French,mid-19th century; dolls are German,circa 1875. Value Points: very rare furniture in beautifully-preserved condition,enhanced by doll companions and their miniature porcelain tea service.
