Description
36" (91 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, shaded outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: R. 6 D. Comments: Rabery and Delphieu, circa 1888. Value Points: grand exhibition-size, rare to find especially by this firm, with excellent bisque, original body and body finish.
