12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head,very large blue glass paperweight inset eyes,lushly-painted
lashes,wide brush-stroked and feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth
with accented lips,pierced ears,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,French composition and
wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists,wearing antique flannel costume with
embroidery,undergarments,bonnet,knit stocks and white kidskin boots. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: Paris 30 (head). Comments: Henri Delcroix,circa 1890. Value Points: rare to find
doll with most expressive features,original body,choice bisque and painting,fine costume,and
carrying her own little all-bisque doll.
