14" (36 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with Dehors deposed
articulation allowing the head to tilt side-to-side and forward as well as swivel,cobalt blue
glass enamel eyes,dark eyeliner,delicately-painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils and eye
corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,ears pierced into head,blonde mohair wig over cork
pate,French kid gusset-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent,body a tad weak.
Comments: French,circa 1867,with rare Dehors articulation. Value Points: wearing a lovely
antique ensemble comprising cotton print gown,undergarments,leather boots,and woven
bonnet,the poupee also owns six additional antique gowns,five additional bonnets of various
styles,bone-handled parasol,two additional pairs of boots (one pair signed
C.C.),stockings,four pairs of gloves,corset and hoop,fan,brushes,jewelry and assorted
sundries.
