11" (28 cm.) paper mache shoulder head with heart-shaped face,sculpted black hair with deeply-
impressed curls and so-called bee-hive arrangement at the crown,painted turquoise eyes,closed
mouth,slender kid body,wooden lower limbs,wearing (frail) antique bronze green silk
gown,undergarments. Condition: very good,original finish,minor paint wear on hair,one small
craquelure at lower back. Comments: Germany,circa 1840. Value Points: rare coiffure,original
finish and costume,painted yellow shoes.
