16" (41 cm.) All-carved wood with socket head,very full cheeks,sculpted hair with bangs and
short bobbed curls,small intaglio painted downcast blue eyes,closed mouth with pouting
expression,spring-jointed body,antique costume. Condition: scuffed and worn with some old
retouch. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan 17,'11 USA & Foreign Countries. Comments:
Schoenhut,model 100,from the Graziano years,the model was made for two years only. Value
Points: very rare early model with well-rendered wistful expression,deeply-defined combmarks
in unusual hair style.
