6" (15 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso,cobalt blue glass eyes,painted
features,single stroke brows,closed mouth with daintily-painted lips,blushed cheeks,blonde
mohair wig over cork pate,peg-jointed bisque arms and legs,bare feet with over-painted
(rubbed) shoes,wearing original costume. Condition: generally excellent,flake on left fingers.
Comments: French,circa 1885. Value Points: the pretty mignonette is presented in original brass
youpala (walker) with fitted stirrups for feet allowing the doll to "walk" when the youpala is
moved forward; the learning-to-walk vignette is enhanced with original very rare woven
miniature bourrelet cap and original dress.
