7" (18 cm.) h. desk. The rosewood-finished upright desk in the Empire tradition has drop front
with green paper lining,interior drawers,one upper drawer and two lower drawers and is trimmed
with ivory-painted columns and edging. Along with four salon chairs with gilt stenciling and
original velvet-upholstered seats. Excellent condition. Germany,Walterhausen,circa 1885.
