8" (20 cm.) desk. Of fine wood,possibly cherry,with inlay designs on several pieces,the fine 14-
piece ensemble includes a large round pedestal table with tripod feet,a smaller pedestal
table,three drawer chest (one knob missing),glass front bookcase with original green paper
lining,hall floor-length mirror,sofa with original rose silk upholstery and gilt paper
edging,unusual drop leaf parlor table,desk with sunray design on the drop front that opens to a
writing surface and interior niches,and a set of six side chairs with unusual curved construction
of the backs and original rose silk upholstery with gold paper edging. Excellent condition. Of
exceptional maitrise-quality workmanship,and beautifully-preserved with original finishes.
