15" (38 cm.) Carved wooden head with gesso and painted finish,having short black ringlet-curled
hair,painted brown eyes,(faded) painted features and lips,shapely-wooden torso with dowel-
jointed wooden arms and legs,metal hands and feet with painted ankle boots. Condition:
good,original finish unrestored with paint wear and rubs on head and lower limbs. Comments:
Joel Ellis,Vermont,circa 1885. Value Points: good large size in excellent structural
condition,wearing original gown and undergarments.
