11" (28 cm.) l. 9" h. The wooden music box contains a handwind mechanism within that creates
tinkling street-organ music when the side handle is turned,and is decorated with lithographed
papers in rich scroll and garland designs along with a scene of a street organ grinder and
dancing children; with original tapestry over sound board,and canvas neck strap. Marks: a 678
(on paper at lower edge.) Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1910. Value
Points: rare and well-designed toy in well-preserved condition.
