Each doll is all-wooden with one-piece head and shapely torso,elongated throat,painted hair with beautifully-detailed curls around the face,tiny painted facial features and cheek blush,two with original carved yellow tuck combs at crown,dowel-jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips and knees,painted shoes. Condition: generally excellent,tuck comb missing on one. Comments: Grodnertal,circa 1830. Value Points: rare early model with exquisite detail of painting that is wonderfully preserved,along with original detailed costumes. Included is a set of early wooden German dollhouse furnishings of the mid-19th century.
