Description
2 1/2" (7 cm.) x 1 1/2". A wooden box with marbled paper cover has a glass window front that
protects an early hand-colored engraving depicting a woman seated at an easel,with brush in
hand. The "painting" on the easel is actually a cut-out panel that exposes various views behind it
in a rotating manner. Included with the simple game are four wooden panels with complete
colored engravings of the drawings that are hinted at in the cut-out panel,including portrait of
Victor Hugo,woman on bicycle,Eiffel Towel,and soldiers. Good condition. Probably French,circa
1890.
