8" (20 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with sculpted very tall shaded brown hat that is brush-stroked
to suggest fur and decorated with black band,chin strap and red ornaments,with brown sculpted
hair peeking at sides,painted brown eyes,black eyeliner,closed mouth,muslin body,bisque lower
limbs,painted socks and black shoes,original undergarments. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: Germany,circa 1880. Value Points: very rare model,the doll is shown in Evelyn
Ackerman's Dolls in Miniature,page 92,described as perhaps the only existing model and
endowed with a "high state of artistic endeavor".
