Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) larger. Each has bisque socket head,five-piece paper mache body,closed
mouth,one with painted eyes,the other with blue glass eyes,mohair wig and antique costume.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4/0 860 (larger). Comments: Germany,circa 1890. Value
Points: included with the boys is a hide-covered paper mache horse with elaborate harness and
amber glass eyes,a wooden trunk with lithographed paper cover to simulate wood and leather
trim,and miniature toys including Erzebirge wooden dolls,swings and animals,and a wonderful
little paper mache piglet.
